ICTC Friday Ride from Lusail Metro - Finish at Qatar Touring Car and Superstock Championship Round-2, Lusail International Circuit, lucky to get invitation to pitstop/paddock area.
Little bit talk about this championship.
Racing talk about Safety, Rules and Consistency.
First we talk about consistency, as you can see on above round-1 result, since I love Lotus Elise, this car become my center of attention, beauty curve, small, agile, with powerful engine. Car number (1) able to record fast lap almost the same as 1st winner, 2:20.804, means this car have potential to be a winner car. However, seems the car or the driver inconsistent, only able to record 8laps, seems it tends to mechanical failure. Means the driver also good and have potential, he drive fast though.

Oke Soichiro, for this case, you won, eventhough I'm Yamaha beliefs, yes Honda is great, you earn it. (but Honda motorcycle below 200cc, still shame though hahahahaa also motogp 2023-2024, you need to rise from your grave to spank your current 2023-2024 engineers!)

I extract small fraction of racing rule book, which subject that I really interest to, it is technical rules, yes I'm Nerd Engineer!.
Checked the rules, seems there will be HP/weight ratio that will be optimum, as per book, engine NA (Naturally Aspirated) or TA (Turbocharged Aspirated), but turbo shall be standard not tweaked even the boost pressure, bore able to oversize until 0.5mm (OS500).
Finally i read the sacred word in rules! "FREE" camshaft and pulley FREEE, COMPRESSION RATIO FREE, VALVEs freee, gear ratio free, coil, ECU free, crankshaft, rod free!
STROKE remain standardd boooo!!
Lastly the most important thing, SAFETY, many section ruling this.
One thing that excite me about the fuel tank, it still allowed to use standard fuel tank, buat need to be modified in certain way, so there will be no surge, leak shall be contained, via "safety or foam-filled bladder tank.
Racing is interesting, it is almost like doing Rotating Engineering jobs, it is easy right, just all about budget! hahahahaa
